Internet service provider GoDaddy recently migrated their cPanel platform to a new server. This process was completed on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 1:22 pm (EST). Perl program scripts for the Funnight Domain, subdomains, and subfolders ceased to execute beginning from that moment.

Web related office personal from various locations representing churches, districts, and persons of leadership have contacted Ron Gordon (me) by email and telephone that their visitors or staff can no longer access needed information or make contacts. Instead, each visitor receives a "500 Internal Server Error" on-screen message from GoDaddy suspending further processing.

No changes or modifications were made to any Perl script by this domain owner or any other administrator. A few of these Perl scripts have been performing without fault for more than a decade. This is a widespread issue affecting every visitor. Following are a few examples of scripts yielding an Internal Server Error. (Support Number: ATS-317095)

GoDaddy Technical Support issued the following email to Ron Gordon, Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 12:50 pm, regarding Support Number: ATS-317095: "Your request has been directed to our department for review. We have resolved the PERL issue on your server. Due to migration the modules needed to be re-installed. This is completed. Perl is now running correctly on the server. At this time, the issue has been resolved."

Indeed, most Perl program scripts are working correctly, there are still few that continue to return "500 Internal Server Error" on-screen messages, even though the programming configuration and syntax is identical to the others. An Adobe PDF version of those Perl scripts have been included for further examination by support staff.

Fun Night was a community endeavor lasting fourteen years (1998-2011), sponsored by local churches to reach the non-churched in the Juniata County area with an entire evening of free food and free entertainment. Local and national singing groups and musicians delighted us with spiritual music. Other entertainers performed various activities with a spiritual inflection.

There was children’s activities, games, family fun, and much more. Food and refreshments were served from about 5:00pm - 9:00pm. Menu: Hot dogs, potato chips, rice krispie treats, brownies, cupcakes, soda, water, and coffee. People brought their lawn chairs, their appetites, their curiosity - but not their wallets. Everything was free, taken from Matthew 10:8, "freely ye have received, freely give."
